Yoruba youths have condemned the inauguration of a Sharia Court in Oyo State.

The youths took to social media to make their anger known.

A circular announcing the inauguration went viral on X and the youths made it clear that they don’t want Sharia Court, which is quite common in Northern Nigeria, to be inaugurated in the South West region of Nigeria.

Muslim supporters disagreed with them and told them their fears are unfounded because sharia law does not apply to non-Muslims.

However, the youths were not convinced.
